Project Manager / Geologist - Great Opportunity

ERM is seeking an energetic, self-starting Geologist / Project Manager to join our consulting firm in Ewing, NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Conduct the investigation / remediation of contaminated sites

On site management of sub-contractors and staff

Maintaining quality on project deliverables

Managing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) / Accounts Receivables

Preparing proposals, proposals costs and change orders with the assistance of a Partner

Manage the preparation of work plans, field efforts and report writing

Manage the scope, schedule and budget of projects

Mentoring junior staff

Ensuring compliance with all Federal, state and local regulations.

Designing and managing large projects and multi-person project teams with limited supervision;

Participating in sales calls and competitive proposal presentations under direction of senior staff;

Maintaining client relationships that are supported by repeat business; and

Maintaining budget / schedule expectations and scope of assignments.


REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

BS in Geology or Hydrology required, MS preferred;

6-8 years of experience required

Demonstrated experience in site characterization including, aquifer testing and monitoring well installation in various geological settings.

Knowledge of the NJDEP Technical Requirements for Site Remediation and NJDEP Site Remediation guidance documents and policies a plus

Must be able to manage multiple assignments concurrently

Advance regulatory knowledge with proven negotiation skills with regulators;

Recognized technical expertise by the marketplace

Experience with Manufactured Gas Plants a plus but not required
