Project Specialist / Project Scientist

 PROJECT SPECIALIST / PROJECT SCIENTIST This Project Specialist will be responsible for identification and management of threatened and endangered species in the southeast US.  In addition, candidates should have experience with environmental permitting and clearances related to construction of major capital projects.A thorough knowledge of the regulatory process is helpful. Thorough knowledge of field applications is mandatory. The ability to conduct wetland delineations and knowledge of threatened and endangered species surveys is mandatory. The candidate will be expected to manage several projects concurrently and to communicate regularly directly with our clients. Working from our client?s offices can be expected. Some overnight travel will be required. Candidate must have knowledge of permitting/clearances (USACE, USFWS, etc.). Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

 

Masters Degree preferred in Ecology, Biology, Zoology or equivalent.2 years experience in similar position and 5 years total experience required.
