Key responsibilities of the position are as follows:

?

Responsible for all aspects of Quality Safety & Environmental Management activities to ensure the timeliness and quality of all work assigned to the Division.? The general scope of the position includes: work recruiting, screening and recommending new hires, promotions, training and cross training, discipline, broadening of skills, and developing backups for key personnel, customer relations, satisfaction and environmental compliance.

Work Management:

Develops procedures for ensuring the quality of assigned work.

Reviews assigned project files and assigns inspectors.

Supervises the internal and external? coordination of assigned projects.

Supervises compliance with applicable safety and environment regulations.

Personnel and Staff Development:

Recommends hiring, terminations, promotions and disciplinary actions.

Accomplishes time keeping and approves vacation.

Counsels personnel on job requirements and recommends needed training.

Supports and enforces EEO/AA policies, dress codes, work rules and ethics.

Safety and Environmental Compliance:

Ensures compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

Prepares required reports to government and corporate headquarters.

Maintain library of safety and environment publications.

Oversee prevention training and reporting on accidents and injuries.

Quality Management:

Prepares and updates the Project Quality Control Plan and the ISO 9200-compliant Quality System.

Manual and oversees implementation of the Quality Management System for the Project.

Develops and implements procedures for QC Department implementation of the QC Plan.

Accomplishes liaison with government Quality/Assurance officials, investigates and initiates corrective action on validated deficiencies.

Required: Minimum Associates Degree, but prefer a Bachelors Degree
