The Regional Safety and Health Manager is responsible for implementing Johnson Controls safety and health program for a multiple site service, construction and sales business. Provides hands-on support in terms of training at all levels, the creation of site-specific and task-specific hazard assessments, auditing programs against Corporate standards and creating corrective action plans, along with the investigation of incidents and necessary follow-up. Assists field supervision and branch management in executing their safety responsibilities and in making their safety efforts successful. Establishes and communicates incident trend data and develops strategies and programs to address problem areas.


 


This position can be located in either Boston, MA, and Hartford, CT, .



Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety or related equivalent with a minimum of eight years work experience in industrial and/or construction safety in a multiple facility environment.  Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.  Ability to travel 60-70%.
