Regulatory Affairs Analyst

Position Functions:  This position will fulfill the following regulatory affairs needs for Cognis Oleochemicals North America (NA) operations.

 

1) Product Safety support, including:

a) Monitoring and interpreting regulations, legislation and standards that may impact Cognis Oleochemicals NA.

b) Hazard classification determination

c)  Management of the Chemical Information Database (CIDB) including data entry.

d) Preparation of MSDS and labeling verbiage.

e) Preparation of country certificates of origin for Oleochemicals products.

f)  Customer specific certification, indemnification and reporting.  Specific example, Estee Lauder.

g) Assessment of TSCA implications and preparation of necessary paperwork including PMN's

h)  Preparation and submission of the product registrations.

i)  TSCA Inventory Update Reporting

 

2) Transportation Management, including:

a) Hazard classification determination

b) Customer support

c)  DOT Training support

 

3) NAFTA Certificates

 

4) Migration from CIDB to ISIS and maintenance of the ISIS system for chemical information storage.
