As a part of Northrop Grumman Corporation's Corporate offices located in Arlington, Virginia, you will join a team of enthusiastic and hard-working individuals who are integral in the guidance and support of Northrop Grumman?s eight business units.
As a Regulatory Consultant, you will work at the direction of Senior Corporate Counsel to: monitor regulatory and legislative environmental, health and safety developments (US and international) that may impact the Company; develop and disseminate a quarterly EHS update; assist in preparing comments on proposed environmental regulations; respond to sector/business unit inquiries on environmental regulatory compliance issues; assist in expanding international compliance efforts; train sector/corporate personnel on environmental regulatory programs; develop environmental compliance guidance assistance and policy documents; participate in environmental due diligence activites; participate in periodic environmental compliance audits; participate in trade association environmental activities; assist environmental counsel in representing the Company's interests at Superfund sites and on other environmental remediation projects; assist environmental counsel in various other environmental projects.
You will need excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills and five or more years of experience in one or more of the following regulatory programs is highly desirable; RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA, DOT, CAA and SWA/SPCC. Experience with OSHA and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a plus.
Minimum years of experience: 5 Preferred years of experience: 10 Preferred Education: BA/BS Environmental Sciences.
