The SI Group (SIG), a growing national environmental consulting & engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based in our Arlington Heights office.  SIG enjoys a diverse array of local and national clients in the real estate, insurance, legal and industrial sectors, as well as a growing list of state, federal and local government clients and seeks a similar level of expertise and experience amongst its staff.

 

Description:

?  Prepare detailed work plans, cost estimates and schedules for multi-media investigation and remediation projects

?  Lead, direct and perform large and small investigation and remediation activities

?  Manage, monitor and control project schedules, budgets and technical milestones

?  Maintain regular dialogue with field staff, subcontractors, regulators and clients

?  Manage clients in different sectors (private, government etc.)

?  Manage client relations and business development activities

 

Requirements:

?  5+ yrs of demonstrated field and project management experience

?  Minimum of 4 yr degree in science, or engineering. Advanced degree a plus

?  Professional certification (P.E., P.G.) highly desired

?  Experience in multi-media subsurface investigations and remediation projects

?  Ability to self-manage multiple concurrent projects and meet project deadlines

?  Commitment to building customer relationships and satisfaction

?  Ability to communicate effectively with The SI Group managers, clients, and regulators

?  Ability to travel 25% of the time.

?  Strong eye for detail

?  Team player and flexible

?  Excellent written communication and documentation skills
