Staff (Entry Level) CAD Technician

A growing specialty environmental consulting firm has an immediate opportunity for a full or part-time entry-level CAD Technician to join the company?s expanding Geosciences Department.  This position will involve assisting in the development of maps and figures to support environmental site investigation and remediation projects.

 

The successful candidate should have no more than two years of experience using AutoCAD software.  Minimum qualifications for this position include a High School Diploma with a certificate/degree or related experience in computer drafting.

 

The position will include using the latest version of AutoCAD to prepare clear and accurate site drawings, boring logs, and cross-sections from sketches or notes.

 

Good written and oral communication skills are important, as is the ability to produce clear and accurate work. Experience should include the use of Microsoft? Office software, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
