Staff Environmental Compliance Consultant

ERM seeks a junior-level environmental compliance engineer to work on phase 1 investigation, due diligence, and compliance audit projects for large industrial clients in the Bay Area from our Walnut Creek office.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Engineering, Chemistry, Safety or Environmental/Public Health
2-4 years experience in environmental consulting or industry environmental position.
Experience with California environmental regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication and experience writing detailed technical reports a must.
Understanding of environmental permit application requirements

Excellent writing and communication skills, excellent listening/interviewing skills, ability to communicate with and relate to different personalities, adept at organizing and analyzing information, ability to handle multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines, available to travel as needed, and proficient with word processing, internet research, spreadsheet and database applications.
