Description:

ERM seeks an energetic entry level Geologist/Hydrogeologist to provide both field and office support for soil/groundwater investigation and remediation projects in the Indianapolis area. Responsibilities will include:
Soil/groundwater sampling;
Research and report writing;
Data management;
Map/graph preparation;
Well installation;
Drilling operations and test pit excavation oversight; and
Federal, state, and local regulatory compliance assistance;


Requirements:

BS degree in Geology/Hydrogeology or related degree (MS preferred).
0-2 years of applicable experience.
Specific interest in a long-term career in the environmental field.
OSHA Health & Safety HAZWOPER training (29 CFR 1910.120) a plus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Great attention to detail.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends as-needed for specific projects.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
