Staff or Principal Ecologists

Applied Ecological Services a national leader in the ecological restoration industry has openings for Staff or Principal Ecologists in various locations throughout the country.

Job Duties Summary:

Plans, designs, and directs ecological restoration related projects such as stream restoration, wetlands restoration, watershed planning and mine reclamation projects. Solicits and prepare proposals for new work. This includes calling on prospective clients, coordinating proposal presentation with AES consultants, preparing proposals and bids for publicly advertised projects, checking and preparing contracts, and approving billings for work complete.

 

Education/Experience, Certifications, Licenses:

Master's Degree in ecology or related science and at least five to ten years of full-time equivalent professional experience. Able to travel up to 40% of the time
