Technical Services Representative

This position serves as the primary customer interface to maintain strong customer relations by communicating information to sales staff, the operations manager and customers.  You will provide technical assistance to field personnel and operations staff and offer support to sales staff by displaying knowledge and background in chemical segregation, manifesting, disposal options and approvals, RCRA and DOT regulations compliance. 

 

2-5 years experience in a hazardous waste environment with a BS degree in science discipline or equivalent industry work experience highly preferred. 

 

40 Hour OSHA & RCRA training is required.  Excellent customer service, computer, and verbal/written communication skills are necessary.  Face it, it?s a customer service position and you?ve gotta multi-task, multi-task, multi-task!  Ability to hit the ground running, to think on your feet and demonstrate the aptitude to learn in-house computer systems quickly is a big plus!

 

NOTE: This position is specific to the environmental and hazardous waste services industry.
