J.D. Power and Associates is a global marketing information firm that conducts independent and unbiased surveys of customer satisfaction, product quality and buyer behavior. Today, the firm's services include industry-wide syndicated studies; proprietary (commissioned) tracking studies; media studies; forecasting; and training services, as well as business operations analyses, and consultancies on customer satisfaction trends.

 

We are currently seeking an Account Director, Financial Services and Insurance, in Troy, MI.

 

Key Goals of this Position:Develop client strategies and key account plans Lead business development activities for syndicated studies, proprietary research, training, and consulting services for assigned banking and mortgage accounts Answer client inquiries/data requests, proactively mine data for informational insights and develop ideas/solutions to address needs Link products and services to client ROI Develop and deliver project/client presentationsMonitor project schedules, insuring that the product is delivered on time

 



Education/Experience Required: Four-year college degree/masters degree preferred or equivalent experience7 to 10 years of related sales/account mgmt./bus. development experience with advance solution selling skills 3+ years of market research, training or consulting related work experienceStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skills (written and oral)Strong interpersonal and organizational skills including the ability to multi-taskExcellent computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and ExcelMust have the ability to work in a team environmentMust also have ability to work independently from remote location (home office)Strong leadership and development/training skills
