Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Sell the company?s products and services to businesses in order to generate and maintain a $1 million in annual revenue. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 Generate new business leads and develop relationships with potential clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients.Ensure the company?s presence in the market place by developing customers within existing markets and create or explore new markets.  Develop and maintain an accurate list of prospects and clients within the Company?s customer relationship management system (Goldmine).Educate and market to clients regarding the company?s products and services through verbal, text or electronic communications.  Proactively arrange a program of visits to all major potential customers by actively contacting customers and potential customers to educate the customers regarding products and services (which may involve technical descriptions).

6.  Conduct cold calls regularly to generate new business. Seek to understand and resolve customers' needs. Develop proposals and Requests for Proposals as required by customers.Secure orders from existing and potential customers.Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, prepare contracts and record orders. Follows up (by phone or in person) on quotes submitted to customers.Maintain working knowledge of the company?s products and services and actively understand competitors' products and services. Coordinate with Operations to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of product and service.Submit weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, problems and resolutions concerning customer relationships.Provides a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis.Maintain confidentiality regarding company client lists, competitive information and trade secrets and any other information the company deems as confidential.Performs other duties in the assigned sales territory.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 College degree or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 2 years of business-to-business sales experience required.Experience with Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook. Technical and industry knowledge, not limited to but, including, electronic discovery, electronic file processing, forensics and imaging.Must be able to coordinate and conduct presentations to a professional audience. Ease at forming long-term relationships with customers on the company?s behalf.Strong customer focus; ability to manage conflict, communicating issues and resolutions to customers in a proactive positive manner.Excellent ability to communicate verbally with diverse groups.Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours and/or outside of normal business hours, if needed on assignments.Able to work under deadline pressure.Project management and administrative experience.High level of business acumenMust be resourceful and able to manage through systems.Must be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative; managing individual day to day activities. Able to qualify for car and auto insurance coverage under the Company?s insurance guidelines.Ability to communicate, both orally and in written form, clearly, effectively, and respectfully within all levels of an organization.Must be able communicate in English, reading, writing and speaking fluently.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Ability to drive personal vehicle on behalf of company adhering to standards of driving.Vision must be sufficient to drive safely and to inspect autos for maintenance.Must possess excellent verbal, written and auditory skills to discuss work-related matters.Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.Standing, walking, bending, and stretching are required regularly to perform customer service tasks.
