The University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association is a dynamic organization dedicated to supporting the University of Pittsburgh and enriching the lives of alumni worldwide. We currently seek an Associate Executive Director (AED) reporting directly to the Executive Director/Associate Vice Chancellor to serve as Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities: Oversee daily operation of the department as well as directing high level alumni events. The AED collaborates in development and implementation of strategic goals, manages special projects and serves as a senior advisor to the Executive Director. The AED serves as liaison between alumni and the university community and handles issues involving major alumni leaders and donors. Qualifications: Master?s Degree with a minimum of five years of executive management experience, preferably in alumni associations or institutional advancement. Must have excellent skills developing and implementing strategic plans, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal relationships as well as communication skills.
