Self-administered Taft-Hartley benefit funds located in St. Louis, MO have an immediate opening for a dynamic professional with experience in multi-employer benefit plan administration. The Fund Office administers a health & welfare fund and a defined benefit pension fund covering approximately 5,000 active participants.
The Administrator will be responsible for supervising the daily activity of the funds, working with the plan professionals and benefit service providers, supervising the claims department and accounting staff and working closely with the Board of Trustees.
Prospective candidates must have a minimum of six years of multi-employer benefit plan experience and must have extensive knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA and COBRA regulations, eligibility administration and fund accounting. Candidates must also have excellent supervisory and communication skills. Candidates with a minimum of a bachelor?s degree and a CEBS designation are preferred.
