Competitive Intelligence Sector Director

This position will be responsible for conducting Competitive Research and Analysis for all Mission Systems Business areas. The candidate will work closely with experts in Mission Systems divisions and cross corporation teams to identify relevant capabilities of likely competitors for targeted acquisitions.  Detailed Responsibilities include:

 

- Provide primary and secondary research and analysis for specific solicitations in the C4ISR, Missile Systems & Technical and Management Services domains.

- Perform competitive analysis to develop actionable competitive intelligence on targeted opportunities using stand-alone/online tools and outside resources.

- Develop detailed Competitive Intelligence (CI) Plans that include pertinent business decisions, key intelligence topics, hypotheses and relevant collection sources for individual opportunities.

- Analyze available resources regarding customer budgets and contract portfolios, including the defense budget and market trends reports.

- Develop detailed and executive level reports and presentations related to ‘CEO Priority Wins’ and Mission Systems ‘Strategic and Must Win’ Bids.

- Assist with opportunity Blackhats and prepare out-brief summaries.

- Support and maintain database of relevant customers, competitors and market trends.

- Partner with division and corporate subject matter experts to help identify, quantify and validate opportunities for Mission Systems

 

This position is bonus eligible-AIP.





Position requirements:

 

1. Bachelor Degree or 10 years industry experience with Competitive Analysis

2. Strong background in competitor analysis for the DoD and intelligence communities

2. Expert understanding of the U.S. Government and DoD budget process

3. In-depth understanding of the DoD C4ISR, Missile Defense and Services markets.

4. Solid understanding of DoD acquisition process

7. Experience developing and presenting executive level reports

8. Familiarity with online and stand-alone market research tools.

9. Strong user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

10. Secret Clearance desired, but not required
