CME Job Description   Global Consumer and Small Business Banking (GCSBB) serves more than 38 million consumer and small business households through a distribution network of 5,800 banking centers, 16,800 ATMs, and the nation’s leading Online Banking and electronic bill pay service.

 

GCSBB product groups work closely with these distribution channels, including three that are No.1 in domestic market share: retail deposits, home equity, and card, which combined with MBNA will be the leader in credit balances and debit card transactions. Also, growing mortgage and insurance groups, and a Small Business Banking organization ranked No.1 in SBA lending nationally and in most major urban markets.

 

Two key operating principles drive the business: one, integration of leadership and resources around customers in specific markets; and two, organic growth, as defined by deepening customer relationships (versus single product sales). 

 

The banking center franchise, which spans 29 states and the District of Columbia, was consolidated recently into five divisions – four that focus on the Top 30 urban growth markets, and a fifth that focuses on other growth markets throughout the franchise.

 

We are currently seeking a Consumer Market Executive (CME) for the Inland Resorts.  This senior level position within the Banking Center Channel (BCC) is one that manages a number of Consumer Market Managers (CMM) and Banking Center Managers (BCM) in the market.  We are seeking an executive who can:

Financial and/or Retail Experience

General knowledge of deposit products, mortgage, investments, credit/check cards, borrower’s protection, and other consumer banking products is a plus





 



Qualified candidates must have 7+ years experience in leading and managing high performing sales teams within the financial services industry or other retail businesses. The candidate must be someone who is recognized consistently as a high-energy, positive agent of change who leads by example. This person must also have strong financial acumen, and understand how the financial markets impact the retail banking business.
