Deputy Site Manager

Summary:

The Deputy Site Manager directly reports to the Contractor Site Manager to support the overall contract operations of a large Government Facility charged with the processing of immigrant petitions and applications.  The Deputy Site Manager supports the Site Manager in organizing, directing, and coordinating planning and production of all contract support activities for the Facility and ensuring the flow of operations between all Contractor-staffed positions.  In coordination with the Site Manager, the Deputy Site Manager provides daily feedback on workflow and future projections to the senior Government personnel at the Facility as well as the Contractor Program Management Office (PMO) in Washington, DC. 

Specifically, the Deputy Site Manager performs the following functions in coordination with the Site Manager:
 
? Demonstrate excellent communications skills with all levels of management, including senior Government and Contractor PMO personnel
? Implement the Management Plan and Corporate Quality Control policies to effectively direct contract support activities to ensure satisfactory conformance with contract provisions and performance metrics
? Assign, schedule, and review work of supervisory staff
? Interpret both Government and Contractor policies, procedures, and goals for subordinates
? Monitor contractual expenditures and ensures that budgets are not exceeded
? Develop and maintain succinct reporting methodology to ensure senior Government and Contractor PMO personnel are informed of contractual performance
? Negotiate and make binding decisions

 

Requirements:

Bachelor?s degree and a minimum of 7 years experience managing an operation of 50+ employees in a production environment required.

Additional Requirements:

? Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
? Ability to prepare management, business, technical, and personnel reports, reviews, and documents for internal and external use
? Ability to obtain and maintain minimum of a SECRET security clearance; US citizenship required
? Ability to pass a detailed background check including social security verification, education verification, and criminal background investigation

 

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

? Advanced degree
? Prior experience and/or certifications with relevant management and quality disciplines, including Six Sigma, ISO, etc.
? Prior experience in application and benefits processing environments, such as insurance, financial, or other high volume mail handling a plus.
? Prior experience managing a seasonal/temporary work force
