Responsible for directing a team of internal auditors assembled for Virginia and Georgia. Essential duties to include, but are not limited to: Participates in scheduling, preparing, performing and reporting functions of assigned team members. Responsible for ensuring comprehensive audit coverage throughout areas of responsibility. Assists VP of Audit in strategic audit planning, development of audit policies, guidelines. Responsible for preparation of materials for audit committee meetings. Management duties include hiring, training, coaching, counseling and evaluating performance of direct reports. Performs other duties as assigned.



BS/BA in Finance or Accounting required. Minimum of 7 years experience performing financial audits of large, complex, highly automated functions and systems required. 3+ years of management experience required. Strong leadership and managerial skills required. High level of skill using personal computer required. Must have excellent analytical, written and interpersonal and project management skills. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.CPA or CIA certificate required.
