Director Business Process Improvement
Local Pharma company is seeking a Six Sigma Master Black Belt to head up Process Improvement for their King of Prussia location. The successful candidate will be a Master Black Belt ideally with experience in Lean/Sigma. In this role they will be a member of a professional services team responsible for driving business process improvements that support operational excellence, growth, and other key strategic initiatives. With an enterprise wide scope, working in various functional areas, and in collaboration with other business units, this team will deliver rapid and targeted solutions to business improvement opportunities. The initial focus will be on process redesign related to the implementation of Oracle business systems (or the Common Business Systems initiative) across the corporate enterprise. We are expecting the candidate to lead an effort to create a certification process and program for Lean Sigma Specialists throughout the company. Responsibilities include: 1.Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities, and to collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives. 2.Establish and lead a team in the identification, design, and delivery of process improvement initiatives. 3.Responsible for maintaining projects on time and budget, reporting on progress, managing expectations and risk, and ensuring post-implementation benefits are measured. 4.Be a student of the markets company competes in, to ensure process improvement initiatives are tailored to the strategic needs of the business leaders. 5.Stay abreast of new developments in business process improvement methodology and best practices, including learning from other market leaders and industries. 6.Act as a catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all businesses.
