Director, Patient Contact Center (3516)

Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Director, Patient Contact Center to join our team in Nashville, TN.

Job Responsibilities:
The Director of Patient Contact Center is expected to effectively and efficiently organize and develop a department of well trained, disciplined and result oriented personnel. Individual is responsible for centralized collections for assigned engagements. Building on RCS's mission, the Director creates a clear vision for the future and defines the values that underlie the day-to-day activities of assigned departments. Individual will also be expected to assist the Director and Managers in the development of methods to increase recovery and maintain positive relationships with the clients. The Director is also responsible for the handling of and solving of any problems related to their areas of assignment, responsible for hiring, training, development and termination of assigned Managers, and maintains a working knowledge of functions in this area. The position works in a cooperative team environment to provide value to customers (internal or external).

Additional Duties:

Directs the day-to-day operations of financial services, billing, and collection work events.

Ensures follow-up for each Service Center engagement has a cash flow appropriate to RCS budget expectations.

Assists in the preparation of the annual budget (both operating and capital) and implements the approved budget goals.

Reports and justifies variances from the budgeted level to the V.P. of Service Center operations

Analyzes identified problems to determine cause and desired resolution, and initiates action steps necessary for an efficient and effective resolution.

Conducts regularly scheduled Manager Meetings to communicate issues regarding, operational metrics, and compliance with established procedures and overall work unit effectiveness.

Attends corporate staff departmental meetings as appropriate or required.

Maintains accessibility for 1:1 communication with Managers and provides avenue for appropriate follow up.

Manages departments in compliance with established policies and procedures of RCS, regulations of applicable regulatory agencies.

Required Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Significant experience (5+ years) in Healthcare Receivables Management with extensive experience directing multi-engagement operations )

Call Center Management experience (5+ years) required.

BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Health Administration, or related degree required
with a Master's degree in health administration, business or a related field (preferred)

Customer Orientation and Client Satisfaction

Problem Solving ability

Track record of continuous improvement

Operating benchmarks and metrics for Ser5vice Center engagements

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Professional appearance and demeanor must be displayed at all times.

Ability to read and evaluate Healthcare Receivables Information

Excellent interpersonal skills for staff and management

Intermediate to expert knowledge of SMARTS and legacy PAS systems

Computer literate with intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office and Internet

Excellent written, grammar and verbal communication skills

Minimum Educational Requirements:

BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Health Administration, or related degree required with a Master's degree in health administration, business or a related field (preferred)
