Director of Franchise Operations

Handyman Connection?, a growing franchise business, is seeking a Director of Franchise Operations to lead the operations group as they expand into new territories.  A leader in the home maintenance and repair field, the company has grown to over 100 franchises throughout the US, and plans to add at least 50 more in the future.  Now a division of a multi-national public company, we have the support behind this expansion to get the job done.  But with that kind of growth, we need a person dedicated to develop our growing Field Staff, and to help us make a mark as we expand domestically and internationally.

 

Qualifications

 College Degree in Business strongly preferred Strong experience in providing consultation in a business setting 5 years of direct experience developing and leading a team of exempt professionals, preferably in a service oriented organization (restaurants, retail, etc.) Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office 2000 applications Knowledge of repair and home maintenance business a plus Communication skill and influence necessary to deliver a consistent message to a broad spectrum of information users/clients Coordinative skill to manage multiple priorities Analytical/evaluative skill to determine problematic issues and tactfully propose solutions Strong follow-up skills Skills at imparting new information, and training others Ability to establish priorities, work independently and insist upon accountability of others Ability to develop comprehensive business plans Ability to travel approximately 10-20%
