EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO CO-PRESIDENT

Executive & personal assistant needed to support high-energy co-president of growing manufacturing company. Excellent organizational, communication, supervisory & problem solving skills required.? Must be fluent in Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.? Must be able to work well un supervised, communicate effectively with all other departments, handle customer inquiries and problems and work well in a fast paced environment.? Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

.Fulfills the responsibilities of inside sales representative.? Will interface with major retail chain executives as well as store personnel.

.Follows corporate policies and procedures.

.Maintains clear and direct lines of communication throughout the organization, as needed, to meet customer requirements.

.Arrange transportation for Customer shipments.

.Informs Customer of shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by Customer.

.Enters Customer orders into computer system as needed.

.Works with the Operations Team, specifically the Manufacturing Directors, to identify any changes or delays.

.Identifies and implements solutions to problems.? Solves problems for Customers as expeditiously as possible.

.Performs pre- and post-delivery follow-up with each Customer as needed.

.Maintains proper correspondence with Customer (i.e. thank you letters, reports, action reports, etc.

.Prepares various reports for management.

.Strives for continuous improvement in all aspects of company operations.

.Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.? Experience working with Customers is also necessary.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.? Computer skills are also needed.

REASONING ABILITY Problem solving ability is necessary.? The ability to listen to Customers and co-workers,?understand problems and identify solutions is critical.
