Electrical Engineering Manager
M3 Design, based in Austin, Texas, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Will perform a variety of functions for M3 and it's clients, including: people and project management
? Majority of time will be spent creating work assignments, managing workload, employee performance reviews, recruiting new talent, and project management duties.
? Should have recent technical skills in: high-speed circuit board logical design, embedded microcontroller system design, embedded firmware design, signal quality simulation, FPGA design, interconnect and systems design, hands on board bring-up and DVT, DFX (design for manufacturability, cost, test, reliability, regulatory compliance), sustaining engineering, component selection, PCB layout management, and RF.
? Will work directly with M3 customers as well as other M3 groups, including Program Management, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design on interdisciplinary projects.
? The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of people management duties, technical expertise, teamwork, problem solving skills, drive, energy, flexibility, and outstanding people skills.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? Minimum of 5 years engineering experience plus 5 years management experience required.
? Recent familiarity with: Orcad schematic capture, Spice simulation, Embedded processor implementations, High speed digital design and FPGA design, VHDL, Verilog, High-speed oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers and soldering stations, PCB Layout tools, USB, PCI, networking and RF
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
? BSEE / Analog and digital circuit design or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
