Provides electrical engineering support for projects within the Americas field sites and major sites in New England and Atlanta.   Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on projects of diverse complexity and scope.  Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision-making process. Ability to handle most unique situations.  May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Project-related travel is required (15-25% ).  Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.  Frequently represents the organization to internal and external customers/clients.  Manages the design process from a distance with carefully timed travel at key stages of the project.  Provides feasibility analysis and preliminary project design and budgeting in support of strategic project planning.  Often provides schematic design solution and utilizes local consultants to complete the implementation.  Takes ownership of EE design solution on behalf of project team.  Works on projects with <$5M budget and partners with corporate construction on projects >$5M.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education or professional experience.


Four to six years directly related professional experience.  PE registration or EIT on track for near term PE registration.


Experience in commercial interior tenant construction, building power systems, laboratory and data center construction.


Experience designing, specifying and commissioning UPS and Generator systems.


Experienced in designing quality systems at a reasonable cost and schedule, as well as supervising and auditing contracted services and managing projects. 


Some experience working remotely is preferred.
