Blue Shield of California is about to undergo a major change in technological and operational processes and you be at the forefront by leading the modernization and conversion of our legacy platform and core systems. This role has a purpose, and that is to redesign the way Blue Shield operates. We need a visionary who will be able to analyze our stakeholders? true needs and lay the groundwork for the overall strategy that will carry Blue Shield to the forefront of the healthcare industry. Based in San Francisco or El Dorado Hills, CA, this is the perfect opportunity for the driven project leader and operations professional to gain visibility and exposure and drive the core operations and future of Blue Shield.

As our Director of Program Management your first mission will be to generate timeline and workflow processes that will guide Blue Shield through the conversion and modernization of all our core systems and operational processes. Through your extensive operations project leadership experience you will be able to coordinate and facilitate objectives across business groups, ranging from IT to customer service, and communicate your implementation strategies to everyone in the company, from front line workers to C-level executives. An advocate for change, your strategic perspective will allow you to facilitate conversion while leading and influencing team leaders and members during this time of drastic change and growth at Blue Shield.
