NCAIED Executive Vice President

The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development is seeking an Executive Vice President to be based in the center?s headquarters office located in Mesa, Arizona. The National Center is committed to Business Development for Indian People and we are a non-profit organization, founded and directed by American Indians. The National Center is the first national organization solely dedicated to developing American Indian economic self-sufficiency through business ownership. In operation since 1969, the National Center is the nation?s largest American Indian economic development organization in the U.S. with nine office locations nationwide.

 

The successful candidate must be a creative and dynamic visionary with demonstrated management, external relations, and communication skills. With a minimum of ten years of senior executive experience, he/she must have a successful record of accomplishment in organization management, including human and financial resources, business development, strategic planning, and operations. Experience in a not-for-profit or Native American organization is essential.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree business or a related field and a minimum of ten years executive level experience in a Native American organization, with preference given to experience in a non-profit setting. A master?s degree in business may be substituted for 3 years of experience. Position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to travel and work weekends and evenings
