National City Merchant Services Sales Rep-Saginaw, MI
Responsible for acquiring new credit and debit card merchant processing accounts under $5,000,000 in annual processing volume via referrals from National City Bank and prospecting. Sales Representatives are also responsible for the ongoing maintenance of existing accounts. Identifies potential customers, makes contact, and develops strategy for selling merchant service products. Negotiates pricing with customers. Builds partnerships with National City Branches, Small Business Banking, and existing merchants within assigned territory. Incumbent spends 50% or more of their time traveling to customer sites within their primary territory. Maintains reports and contact log for purposes of tracking sales and trends.
This position covers the Saginaw, Midland, Bay City and West Branch cities. The candidate can be located in one of those sites.
Required Skills:
-A minimum of 3 years proven strong sales skills and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
-Negotiating, pricing, and presentation skills and knowing how to complete a sales process.
-Debit or credit card processing sales experience and/or financial services sales experience. Outside sales experience is also preferred
