Operations Manager

Job Description: Multek Flexible Circuits, Inc., is a leading manufacturer of flexible materials.  Under limited supervision, manages and coordinates all aspects of the manufacturing operation for the Sheldahl Technical Materials Business unit.  Leads efforts for the continuous improvement of performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Representative job duties include:  participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; prepares operational analyses and reports; audits current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of operations; reviews and interprets financial operating information as appropriate; oversees the daily operations of Sheldahl's manufacturing departments and supervision of personnel; provides advice and assistance to senior management in the planning and implementation of capital improvements; develops and monitors operating budgets.

Job Requirements:


College degree required, technical degree preferred; five years of experience in a manufacturing roll coating environment, familiarity with adhesive and vacuum coatings.  The successful candidate will possess knowledge, skill and ability in the following areas:  superior leadership; analytical; organizational; project management; communication; interpersonal and team skills.  Other requirements include or possess the capability to acquire knowledge of Sheldahl products, inventory management, process systems and procedures.  The ability to accomplish objectives through others without the benefit of a formal reporting relationship is also required.
