Operations Manager - Oklahoma

 

 

Job Title: Operations Mgr.

 

Department:Operations 

 

Reports to:  General  Manager

 

 

Position Summary:

The key point of contact for all issues related to the day-to-day function of the Primary Operations Control Center, including Computer Systems.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

- Managing Integrity of all Systems, including:

- Verifying that all contractual obligations are maintained

- Providing 24 hour support for any questions or problems

- Responsible for hardware repair and maintenance:

Assists with and schedules repairs, as well as performing emergency repairs

Ensures adequate hardware is in place

Recommends necessary upgrades

Schedules preventive maintenance

- Monitors on-line system performance by:

Reporting any unusual incidents to software support

Providing first level of support for the on-line system

 

Making emergency adjustments to the operations dept

-  Develops and updates ?Standard operating procedures? for computer operations

 

-Overall Management of  Computer Operations Staff including:

- Upholding discipline and morale by:

Encouraging professional demeanor and personal integrity

Maintaining high morale and a comfortable work environment

Conducting counseling sessions, oral and written warnings

- Reviews work performed by computer operators to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

- Conducts periodic evaluations on all operators.

- Develops new work schedules and ensures that all shifts are covered

  - 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Must be well versed in all areas of computer, software and hardware technologies
