Position Description:
Frito-Lay acquired Stacy's Pita Chip Company in January 2006, as the cornerstone of its new "Premium Gourmet" portfolio. The nine year-old entrepreneurial company started from a sandwich cart in downtown Boston and has grown to a $50MM brand of Pita Chips and Soy Crisps, sold in a variety of grocery, club, mass, gourmet and food service outlets. Frito-Lay's vision is to dramatically expand distribution and marketing of the Pita Chip product, and use the Stacy's brand as an innovation platform for additional natural, baked, premium snack foods sold outside the salty snack aisle, and largely outside the Frito-Lay selling/distribution system.
The Stacy's management team is a mix of PepsiCo executives and managers from the original Stacy's team. We are located at the Stacy's production facility in Randolph, MA. The goal is to maintain significant independence from Frito-Lay to encourage innovative thinking in all aspects of the business. Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and accountability for all Maintenance, facility, and capital project activities, and results.
Develop and execute site CAPEX and Asset Reliability Strategy.
Develop and carry out work plans to identify technologies and vendors able to achieve requirements.
Work closely with suppliers and internal customers to deliver expected results.
Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects that support multiple teams across all shifts.
Accountable for budget management, site downtime, and achievement of line performance metrics.
Lead change through development of people, systems, and processes that ensure improved business performance.
May provide support across all shifts.
