PPM Energy is looking to fill a PPM Business Developer, Ld/Sr. The position overview is to develop and maintain a portfolio of business opportunities including greenfield development and acquisition of wind power generating facilities.  The successful individual will be responsible for leading site development and project acquisition efforts, establishing site control and community relations, conducting due diligence on potential acquisition, and permitting project sites.  This person will demonstrate leadership and the ability to coordinate project teams consisting of sales and marketing, construction and engineering, legal, and finance. 

 

This position will be based in Houston, TX, however other locations in Texas or in  the Mid-Continent US may be considered. 

 

 

 

 Bachelors degree plus 5 years experience in energy marketing or energy project development or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.Proven experience in contract negotiation.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Substantial domestic and periodic overseas travel required. Working knowledge of Windows based business software applications, including Word and Excel.


Preference may be given to candidates with the following:   MBA or other advanced degree in engineering or related field. Prior experience in wind power development. Project Management experience
