JOB DESCRIPTION – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




The successful candidate will own all aspects of the quarterly release cycle of Reuters Knowledge relating to communications both internally and externally.  For external communications, he/she will be tasked with using innovative, as well as on-product, methods to reach out to the customer base.  The communicated message should revolve around the value of Reuters Knowledge and its integral place in the workflow of the investment management, corporates, or investment banking clients.  The main goal is to establish the client relationship to reinforce their purchase decision and enhance their Reuters experience by providing a greater level of transparency to them.


 


The internal communications process will involve working closely with the product management team in knowing the key product enhancements for each release and communicating these to all other groups responsible for the sales and support of Reuters Knowledge.  This will include the formation of training sessions (phone/webex/classroom), marketing materials, and release notes.


 


Main responsibilities include:


 

Working with Marketing Communications on building and delivering internal and external collateral and communication.
Managing the training schedule (release notes, online sessions, follow-up) to ensure frontline owners can properly support for each version or Reuters Knowledge
Awareness of product specific and company wide events to market
Managing and updating the marketing page to facilitate pushing relevant information to the user
Tracking client issues/requests/feedback and communicating to them when such items have been incorporated into a release.
Maintaining the Reuters Knowledge Product A-Z.
Monitor product usage to highlight popular research, news, events, data


 


 









JOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE




Please provide the following information:


 


·  Ability to identify, prioritise, and manage projects spanning single or multiple releases


·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills


·  Drive, initiative and the ability to work unsupervised


·  Proven ability to see tasks through to completion


·  Strong understanding of Reuters products


·  Bachelors/BA or equivalent work experience


·  Minimum 2-3 years experience in a product/project management or similar role


·  Experience in online promotions and copy writing a plus


·  HTML and XML editing
