Productivity Manager

Job Description: Position Overview The Productivity Manager is responsible for the identification and implementation of 5% year over year cost reduction projects for the facility, by working individually and with the different departments .

Essential Job Functions

Oversee Productivity Improvement Process (PIP) Associate reward program.

Identify, track and implement material, labor and overhead cost reduction projects.

Report SKU level productivity project financials to corporate accounting.

Assist department managers in the identification and implementation of 5% cost reduction in their respective departments.

Work closely with marketing, sales, commodity managers and channel managers in the identification and implementation of cost reduction projects.

Drive sustainable change throughout the facility.

Provide documentation of results and benefits achieved.

Present productivity financial metrics monthly to company executives.

Job Requirements:

Education

BS Degree in Engineering or Operations Management

Requirements

3-5 years of direct manufacturing experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access

Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologies

Understanding of cost structure

Ability to work with a diverse group of people

Excellent presentation skills to effectively share the success and ideas

MS Office software skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Minitab

Requires a hands-on approach to drive results

Other Skills/Abilities

Experience with injection molding or sheet extrusion
