JOB DESCRIPTION – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




 


This role will be critical to the production support of Reuters.com. Ensuring the level of service that we have promised our customers and our users; the primary job responsibility of this individual will be to manage the day-to-day development tasks surrounding product enhancements, product bugs and small feature requests. The individual will manage the entire development lifecycle from business request and requirements to development, to QA certification to production deployment. This operational role is critical to RCOM in order to keep the product running effectively and efficiently.


 


 


 


 


 









JOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE




 


o Minimum 2 Yrs of project management experience or experience as a Tech. lead.


o Work experience in a software development environment.


o Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience.


o Conceptual understanding of web applications, web services and client server architecture.


o Conceptual understanding of any or all of the following: HTML, XML, JSP, ASP, JavaScript, XSL.


o Ability to communicate well and present across all levels of organization


o Attention to detail


o Ability to understand, manage and track priorities.


o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high paced environment.
