Project Design Manager

We are currently searching for a Project Design Manager who will work closely with our retail and commercial customers to help them realize their visions for their distinctive properties.

Project Design Managers are also responsible for:
? Building solid business relationships with clients
? Communicating with customers, subcontractors, vendors and employees and attending project related meetings
? Researching and preparing plans and designs, preparing models and cost estimates for each project and presenting plans to customers
? Managing the production for our high quality service including understanding basic horticultural concepts, communicating with customers and partnering with installation team
? Working with clients to ensure that changes are captured, plans are updated and that working designs are available
? Ensuring that design time is recorded correctly on timecard for billing and job cost purposes
? Special projects as needed

Requirements:
? Minimum of 2 years of creative experience in a professional design business
? Formal design education, certifications, and classes in horticulture, landscape architecture and design
? Horticulture knowledge including experience working with plant lists a plus
? Bachelors degree or related experience
? Strong work ethic
? Effective oral and written communication skills
? Ability to prioritize and multi-task
? Customer service experience
