Project/Risk Analyst

The Legal Division's Project & Risk Management Office ("PRMO") is responsible for tracking progress on Legal and Compliance projects and producing risk, litigation and other project and/or risk related reports for internal and external use. It oversees and helps with initiatives for which the Legal and/or Compliance Departments are providing a significant advisory role. The mission of the PRMO is to develop and maintain a streamlined process for project planning, coordination, tracking and communication as well as adequate reporting on project and risk status.

Your job will include managing information collection and serving as the main point of contact for legal and compliance reports. You will devise and execute quality control plans for legal and compliance processes and create presentations on strategic initiatives for town meetings and other Division communications. You will also be responsible for calculating and analyzing metrics for SOX compliance and collecting data for the quarterly business review.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with a minimum of five years of business experience, preferably in the controlling area of the financial services/banking or consulting industry. To be successful in your new role, you must possess strong analytical and report writing skills; Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with ability to translate and visually depict business concepts and ideas; preferably strong knowledge of UBS controlling systems and global and/or US specific processes; project planning experience; strong oral and written communication skills; in particular, the ability to communicate succinctly and experience in communicating with senior management. You must be able to take initiative and demonstrate solution-oriented thinking and independent problem solving skills. Additionally, you will need a goal-oriented working style with an ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced global environment and should be able to contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
