Quality Assurance Technician to $25k+ -

Job Description: Maintains systems required to retain ISO 9000 registration. Tests materials and products to verify conformance with specifications, departmental procedures and ISO requirements. Records and maintains data on product quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

. Uses established test procedures to evaluate incoming raw materials (i.e. adhesives, substrates, etc.), work-in-process, and finished goods.
. Audits all manufacturing operations on a daily basis to verify on-going conformance to product quality standards.
. Tests complaint materials to verify justification or non-justification of complaints.
. Verifies and approves set-up of all die-cut products before the start of production.
. Tests finished goods versus established specifications or drawings, and issues certifications as required.
. Maintains all retain systems in an organized manner for easy retrieval of specific lot numbers.
. Issues and dispositions all tags as needed, and maintains current Tag Log.
. Maintains computer data bases.
. Maintains lab equipment within specifications and reports any malfunctions. Keeps lab in a clean and orderly manner.
. Follows all safety rules and reports any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor.
