The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a/an Senior Director Learning & Development & People Development for our Human Resources Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.



Essential Job Functions:
To create and oversee the implementation of a strategic approach to design and development of learning. To build capability and provide leadership to the learning design function and team
To establish relationships and to work closely with other learning, People Development, Human Resources, operational, and corporate leadership to deliver a corporate-wide strategy
To create metrics to show return on investment, program impact, and curriculum effectiveness corporate-wide. To identify and manage a cadre of external vendors. To create the model and build the capability for an integrated, blended learning approach to meet performance needs; model to include instructor-led, self-paced, interactive, online, and coaching interventions



Job Requirements:
Ability to acquire corporate-wide support for new instructional design approach to build curricula and programs. Ability to measure results and practice continuous improvement
Ability to lead the design function: create corporate-wide strategy; plan budget; manage strategy; lead team to execute strategy. Ability to build and sustain relationships with key decision makers and influencers in Human Resources; field operations; regional, divisional, and corporate leadership. Expert knowledge of all phases of the instructional design practice, instructional technology, measurement and evaluation procedures, leadership development, and coaching techniques. Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals as well as with small and large audiences



Education and Experience:
Master's degree (M. A.) or higher; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
