Safeguard  Self Storage has an immediate opening in the Atlanta corporate headquarters for the following position:

 

Senior Vice President, Marketing & Brand Management

In this crucial management role, you will set strategic direction for all professional marketing functions, including long term goals for the sales and rental units. You will implement brand development and marketing management with an emphasis on retail. You will supervise our Marketing, Public Relations, Sales Support and Creative Services areas, to ensure effective product line marketing, publicity, and marketing communications, as well as uniform promotion design and branding. Provide vision, strategic leadership, focus, and perspective for maximum marketing impact while driving the branding strategy through innovation and sound business strategies and tactics.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 Develop, manage and execute marketing programs, promotions, and initiatives though key marketing channels.Design brand operational, amenity and service standardsPrepare brand annual and long range business plans.Conduct market research to better understand customer needs, trends, and strategic opportunities. Serve as a competent, contributing corporate executive and as a mature, credible spokesperson for the company both inside and outside of the company.Identify, articulate, promote and execute brand positioning initiatves. Create opportunities to communicate and reinforce brand messages at every touch point with our customers.Provide analysis and assessment of results from marketing initiatives. Quantify the impact marketing spend has on business results.Develop, manage, and execute marketing plans and budgets.  Provide forecasts and updates.Enhancement of existing directory advertising program  Improve market, customer, and competitor research and analysis New product/service development and commercialization Development of customer relationship management program Development of e-business platforms/websiteDevelop and work through on-line marketing ideas. Work closely with sales management to achieve long-term and short-term revenue and profit goals.   

 

 

Education and Experience

 Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or related field Seven to ten years marketing experience, minimum of 5 years as the senior decision makerExcellent communications skills Strong marketing and strategic planning skills Extensive new product/service launch experience Excellent financial acumen Strong cross-functional teamwork Ability to deliver measurable customer and financial results Exceptional project/program management abilityAnalytical tools, software (spreadsheet, presentation, word processing)
