Supervisor (068728) Billing Correspondence

JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervise staff members to ensure all quality and production goals are met daily. Will be responsible for a staff of 15 ? 20 employees.
Train and orient new staff members within the Patient Billing Correspondence Area.
Coaching and development of staff members.
Ability to problem solve demonstrated by examples in previous work experience where they identified a problem and did due to diligence to solve the problem.
Should feel comfortable with a changing environment such as changing duties, priorities, and SOP?s.
Must possess excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task within the department.
Must be able to work effectively with all team members providing support and making recommendations to management that may initiate implementation of new procedures and processes.
The ability and expertise to troubleshoot and research issues for the Director/Manager as needed.
Write, prepare, and gather data for financial reports.
Prior Supervisory skills preferred.
Prefer previous medical billing or receivables experience.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Administrative: Ability to relate professionally with people, analytical abilities, compose

letters/memorandum, coordinate events, motivate others, organizational skills, research information, time management, train employees, written and verbal communications, supervisory skills.

Machine: Calculator, personal computer.

Physical Demands: Speech clarity, repetitive motions?making frequent movements with fingers and hands, standing?remaining on one?s feet in an upright position, sitting?remaining in the normal seated position, handling?seizing, holding, grasping, or otherwise working with hands.

Vision Requirements: Able to pass standardized color vision test, as required by test performed. License/Certification/ Education: Requires an Associates Degree w/5-7 years of experience.
