Tax Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions

We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join us in our New York City office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Participate in tax due diligence projects, including review of tax filings and FAS 109 tax provision workpapers
?Advise clients on complex tax structuring issues, including consolidated tax return and loss planning issues
?Work with and coordinate foreign offices on international structuring issues


QUALIFICATIONS:
?Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university or J.D. degree with a tax focus from an accredited college/university
?Four years of experience in a professional accounting firm or corporate tax department
?Ability to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that focuses on helping to provide industry knowledge and experience, especially in the area of mergers and acquisitions
?Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters, with a marked focus on the corporate tax reorganization and acquisition rules
?Compliance experience
?FAS 109 skills
?Excellent research and verbal and written communication skills
?Ability to travel to the client site as needed
