VP of Business Development

Position Description:

This innovative, startup security Software Company seeks a seasoned, senior level sales professional
to head up its World Wide Strategic Partnership efforts. This newly created position reports directly to
the CEO and is responsible for developing, building and managing the company?s strategic
partnerships with systems integrators and security consulting firms.

Our Client seeks to grow its market presence by partnering with key integrators and thereby
fostering combined/shared sales efforts which will result in win-win scenarios. As a secondary focus,
Our Client will entertain OEM opportunities where tight product synergy can be demonstrated
and branding is preserved.

This position is measured by the revenues driven through the plan and organization. The winning
candidate must have a proven track record of delivering consistent quarterly results.

Specific Responsibilities:

? Lead the creation and implementation of the overall partnering strategy
? Engage strategic companies in partnering agreements which will facilitate the inclusion and use
of Our Client in marketing and sales efforts.
? Develop and nurture alliances with synergistic technology companies where potential OEM
opportunities are present.
? Provide overall personal leadership and direction to the business

Requirements:

Requirements include 5-7+ year successful track record of business development and sales. Candidate
with have direct experience creating partnership and OEM arrangements . Prior experience in
Enterprise-level software sales is a must, experience in security software sales would be ideal.
Understanding of malware intrusion environment preferred. Candidate should be familiar with the
regulatory topics such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPPA, etc and in leveraging and incorporating this
knowledge into a selling advantage. Candidates must be comfortable working in a start-up minded,
team-oriented, diverse, value added collaborative but focused bottom-line driven culture.

Total compensation is open but targeted in the $140K-$200K range for the first year ? a base salary in
the $100K-$140K range plus commissions and bonuses.
