JOB DESCRIPTION – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Maintain strong relationships with 3rd party vendors. Defining the working relationship between Reuters and third parties and owning the relationship moving forward.
Support and define facilitating of strategic partnerships with external providers in conjunction with the appropriate business owners.
Establish and maintain strong relationship with internal groups supported by 3rd parties.
Manage budget related to 3rd party services.
Operational oversight of service delivery of third parties for client site Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes, and Service Requests and aspects of service delivery to improve client satisfaction.
Act as focal point for all Third Party Service Delivery and Siebel issues for Latin America.
Drive changes and improvements to overall process framework in the Americas and ensure appropriate documentation.
Manage various aspects to the Reuters Event Driven Survey: manage data extraction integrity; perform monthly analysis on result files; distribute result files to third party partners; participate in weekly calls with stakeholders; drive change based on survey feedback.
Pull monthly Service Request data from Business Objects/Siebel for SLA; Perform monthly review on SLA data jointly with third parties;  pull monthly SR data for Billing purposes.
Act as ongoing focal point for managing the Reuters Certification of Third Party Engineers (driving training events/knowledge for third parties and anticipated skillsets for existing and new products..
Analyze vendor contracts.
Act as regular subject matter expert in the following disciplines: vendor billing/Invoice; SLA reporting; asset and hardware management.
Facilitate posting of Vendor Management documentation on dedicated Sharepoint site.
Work with our hardware alliance partners (IBM, HP, SUN).
Act as focal point for customer asset management database and asset gathering initiatives. 


JOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 


· Bachelor degree with recommended > 5 years relevant experience or non-bachelor degree holder with recommended >10 years relevant experience.  In addition, professional certification such as PMI or ITIL desirable.


· Experience must demonstrate managing projects (with teams based in multiple locations) to successfully deliver within specified timescales and budget.


· Exceptional customer service skills.


· Detail-oriented and proven problem solving skills.


· Strong negotiating skills.


· Capable of working in a fast moving environment with the ability to react quickly to prioritize deadlines.


· Excellent planning, organizational and “soft” skills


· Excellent written, oral and presentational communication skills with exposure in change management.


· Must be self-motivated, dynamic and able to work with minimal supervision


· Knowledge of Reuters is required.


· Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese desirable.


· Ability to communicate clearly and keep relationships in many different cultures and countries


· Strong Self management skills with clear objectives and action plans


· Good customer service sense and ability to deal with all level of organisation both internal and external.


· With ability to build strong/trusted relationships despite a regional distance.
