Vice President, Operations

Position Summary????????????????? Under general supervision mmanages business operations by driving organizational direction by seeking continuous process improvement objectives through technology and organizational design.

?

Specific Duties.?

?

????????? Manage the business lines to include investment analysis, project management, production, research, review and quality control.

????????? Develop and implement strategies and tactical action plans for operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate current and future growth objectives.

????????? Understands and anticipates client and business unit needs, taking initiative and applying experience, to provide superior service.

????????? Coordinates effective operational preparedness for optimal growth and expansion.

????????? Provides quality process and technical leadership to multiple work teams while offering direction, counseling, guidance and encouragement to team employees.

????????? Develops innovative and consistent business practices including processes that ensure integrated, cross functional unit operation.

????????? Facilitates team meetings to communicate and filter necessary information between management, team members, and other business units.

Qualifications

?

????????? BA/BS Degree required in Business Management, Administration, Industrial Relations, Technology or related; or an equivalent combination of education and experience; graduate degree preferred.

????????? 10 years of increasingly responsible operations management experience with mortgage or financial industry emphasis preferred.

????????? Minimum 5 years executive level management work experience to include strategic development and implementation.?

????????? Ability to communicate effectively leading and facilitating team meetings with other employees using email, telephone and in a face-to-face setting.

????????? Ability to comprehend and make inferences from material (such as labor or material cost estimates, blueprints and work plans).

????????? Excellent analytical writing and communication skills in the English language.

????????? Exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from senior management.

????????? Possess analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.

????????? Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

????????? Be persuasive, enthusiastic and pro active.

????????? Possess a full understanding of human resource issues and effective resolution skills.

????????? Ability to anticipate problems/issues and take timely, corrective action.

????????? Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks in an unstructured environment.

????????? Proficiency with Microsoft Office
