Vice President of Corporate Development

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with a variety of key business partners with a concentration in web based marketing of consumer and business services. This role will participate in development of business strategy, analysis of market opportunities and the structuring of business plans. In addition, this individual will be a key part of driving internal cross functional groups to further the company?s business objectives to successful completion. This is a senior level, highly influential position requiring a seasoned professional with the ability to build and lead a team and will report directly to the President and CEO.

 

 

Responsibilities:Identify and develop key business partnersCreate strategy/business plans to pursue and obtain partnershipsDevelop business relationships, structure and negotiate terms and pricing through contractingResearch, identify and drive Merger and Acquisition opportunities Ongoing management of strategic relationshipsBuild and lead a Business Development teamParticipate in company business strategy and objectives in collaboration with other executivesDrive internal cross-functional teams to meet company goals

 

 

Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, IT or related area required, MBA a plusMinimum 8 years experience with a history of advancement with a technically related business5+ years experience in strategic planning and execution, corporate business development and M & AFull life cycle product development experienceTrack record of establishing and maintaining key business partnershipsProven ability to convert strategic ideas into tactical plansExperience leading and driving a team towards aggressive goalsAbility to communicate effectively across functional areas throughout all levels in the organization and to external partners including the board of directorsProven leadership and negotiation skillsMust be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, start-up environmentMust be articulate, visionary and forward thinking with strong presentation skillsWeb base/online business experience and plusAdvanced Word, Excel, and Powerpoint requiredMust we willing to travel
