Vice President of Sales – Software Solutions and Services

Our client is an international leader in the convergence marketplace, providing software product and services solutions to the communications industry. We are searching for a Vice President of Sales for their San Jose office.

 

In this senior role, you will be responsible for managing the U.S. divisional managers. You will also be responsible for increasing the company?s market position and compelling client value proposition by designing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth for both new business and ongoing opportunities. You will bring your market intelligence and knowledge to the organization. Other duties include providing strong leadership in the areas of business development, practice delivery and customer relationship management as well as working with internal business units to develop channel and indirect sales strategies.

 

Qualified Candidates will have a minimum of 15 years of related experience, including successful direct sales experience and sales management experience. Sales management experience in software services is essential. A large rolodex of contacts in the industry is necessary. Experience selling large ticket solutions (an excess of $100,00million U.S.) is a must, along with a potential to double that amount in a given time. Practical experience in the communication marketplace would be a definite asset. A University degree or equivalent is required.
