The Credit/Accounts Receivable Manager will manage and maintain the integrity of our credit and accounts receivable portfolio and associated metrics, by ensuring that risk is mitigated, cash is collected, posted and applied in a rapid and timely manner, accounts reconciled and customer disputes resolved.  Full responsibility will include, but is not limited to:

 

?  Management of customer credit and timely collection and application of funds 

?  Extension of credit lines to new customers, order approvals, monthly closings, preparation of cash receipts forecasts and submission of management reports

?  Responsible for meeting or exceeding published credit and collection metrics, conducting on-site visits to customer facilities and developing sound collection business practices

?  Responsible for defining and enforcing credit and collection policies and procedures

?  Maintain open channels of communication with customers to provide a high level of customer service, some travel required.

?  Manage, develop and mentor a team.

 

Qualifications include a Bachelor?s degree in Business or Finance/Accounting, MBA preferred, with 5 years of progressively responsible experience in credit and collections within a manufacturing environment.  Management experience of 3 years required, along with proven leadership skills.  Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) required, along with proficiency MS Office Suite; JD Edwards ERP experience preferred.  Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills and exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy and work well under stress with the ability to deliver on time.
