City College of San Francisco, a comprehensive community college, serves the diverse adult population of the City and County of San Francisco, California. The College provides credit and noncredit instruction toward the goals of transfer to baccalaureate institutions, occupational skills training, English as a Second Language (ESL), and other adult education programs. City College serves 106,480 students annually at 10 campuses and more than 100 additional sites around the city. City College is staffed by approximately 2,301 faculty, 909 classified staff, and 49 administrators, and has a total annual budget of more than $170 million.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance provides administrative support in preparing managing, and monitoring the annual District budget; coordinates and prepares a variety of fiscal reports, budget documents, and cost/revenue forecasts and plans. The Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance also organizes, evaluates, and supervises the District?s Accounting, Budget, Payroll, and Purchasing sections.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientations, disabilities, and ethnic backgrounds;
*Earned Master?s Degree or higher from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Economics, Educational Administration, or a related field; OR THE EQUIVALENT; OR Earned Master?s Degree from an accredited institution with full-time experience at the level of Chief Business Officer in a large public school or higher education institution;

SALARY RANGE: The salary range for the position is competitive and based on related experience. The annual salary range for the position is $100,108 to $140,801.
